Now as we all know, lately, the world has changed a lot because of Covid-19… No parties, no pool days (Unless you have one), and we’re stuck to social distancing. That leaves us to stay at home, but what is there to do? In the kitty house of NJ, The Kitty Army has nothing left to do, no adventures to Italy, none to Greece, or to any other country as a matter of fact. But there’s one thing that Ocelot has found to do… Gaming. Now you might think, “How the heck is a cat supposed to play video games??”. ~Just remember, my cats are definitely not average cats~ Anyways, let’s get on with our virtual adventure!
Let’s take a look at the main focus of Ocelot’s computer game! Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang Studios. Created by Markus “Notch” Persson in the Java programming language and released as a public alpha for PCs in 2009, the game was officially released in November 2011, with Jens Bergensten taking over development. Now let’s finally start the story!
On a normal Quarantine day, somewhere maybe in late July, Ocelot was casually sitting in the Cat Den and using his very own Windows Mew laptop. Usually, he plays Minecraft, but sometimes he takes a break and writes stories for the Catz Times. This time he was taking a break because he didn’t know what to do and decided to go outside for a bit. The weather was nice, the sun was slowly reaching the horizon, the cool breeze swept in as with-in the first 2 minutes Ocelot was enjoying the beautiful day so far… Until, *BZZ* *BZZ* a notification appears on his smart-watch. Ocelot, frustrated as he was trying to relax, decided NOT to answer it. *BZZZZ* BZZZZ* The buzzing didn’t stop, so he decided to answer it. “So much for a perfect evening”, he murmured. Before he unlocked his smart-watch, he noticed it said: “19 new messages from Milkey”. As he knew it was urgent he unlocked his watch and dashed to messages. Below, were the messages that Milkey sent to Ocelot:
OCELOT!!
OCEEEEELOTTT!! ANSWER!!
WE GOT HACKERS!
THEY BLEW UP ALL OUR STUFF!
And far more messages but that would take too long to say. As Ocelot’s eyes moved from text to text, he got a very sick feeling in his stomach. He started typing as he saw Milkey was typing too.
“Wait what?! WHAT HACKERS?! I’M GONNA GO ON RIGHT NOW!” Ocelot was running as he was already pretty far from the house THINKING his evening would be splendid. He dashed through the neighbor’s yard and dashed through their drive-ways hoping he wasn’t going to miss what had happened to his server. As he ran into the house, Zuzia (The Cat Mom) was sitting on the couch watching a cooking show. “Why are you in such a rush?!” she asked. Ocelot had no time to answer so he ran past and into The Cat Den knocking over lamps and chairs and anything in his path. Trying to sign into his computer was A MESS, being so nervous he was trembling, struggling to type his password.
When he finally got into his PC he clicked Minecraft hoping it would start up quicker than ever. Taking one minute, the Mojang logo finally showed up, so he clicked multiplayer, and then {Ocelot’s Server}. What was next, was awfully surprising… To be continued…
That was excellent……you could work for Disney Productions writing
these stories into books or a movie!! Looking forward to seeing what was “awfully surprising”!!
